The Department of Physics is dedicated to providing high-quality education in both theoretical and experimental physics, with a strong emphasis on "learning by doing." Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the fields of teaching and research. We strive to create an environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Our department is committed to providing a comprehensive educational experience that combines theoretical foundations with hands-on experimental learning. The department is equipped with good facilities and equipment, providing students with opportunities to meet the needs of students with diverse interests and career goals. The department have well define Program Objectives. The following are the program objectives of the B.Sc. with Physics.


  • To deliver high-quality education in physics through thoughtfully designed courses that cover both theoretical and practical aspects.

  • To help students develop a deep understanding of the fundamental principles across all areas of physics.

  • To empower students to apply their scientific and technical expertise in various disciplines and fields of study.

  • To enhance students' abilities for on-going professional development, preparing them to address technological and societal challenges.

  • To foster a scientific mind-set and attitude, emphasizing values such as efficiency, accuracy, precision, objectivity, integrity, curiosity, effective communication, and ethical responsibility.

  • To inspire students to cultivate a life long passion for learning and discovery.

  • To develop students' problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, enabling them to approach complex scientific challenges with creativity and critical thinking.

  • To provide students with hands-on experience through laboratory work and research projects, ensuring they are well-equipped for future careers in research, industry, and academia.

  • To cultivate teamwork and collaboration skills, preparing students to work effectively in interdisciplinary environments and diverse professional settings.

  • To foster an understanding of the social and environmental implications of scientific discoveries, motivating students to pursue research and innovations that contribute to the greater good of society.
